Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. Additional Oscar nominated film starring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been associated with numerous notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
